English lesson time!

Would you let me tell you an anecdote?

Ok, so, here’s this guy, 33, smart, nice and funny, who asked for English lessons with a kid teacher. Therefore, he’s rather exposed to ridiculous situations. The teacher chose him to start with learning this new song, thinking it would bust the child out of him. So they started singing it.

Him & Her: If you’re happy and you know it clap your hands.
Her: (clap – clap) Do it with me.
Him: (clap – clap)
Her: Good.
Him & Her: If you’re happy and you know it then your face will surely show it, if you’re happy and you know it clap your hands! (clap – clap)
Her: Yesss!

Him & Her:
If you’re happy and you know it stamp your feet.
Her: (stomp – stomp) Come on… Do it!
Him & Her: If you’re happy and you know it then your face will surely show it, if you’re happy and you know it stamp your feet! (stomp – stomp)
Her: Ok! Next one.

Him & Her: If you’re happy and you know it shout hurray!
Her (big eyes, hands around mouth): HURRAY!
Him (hands down): Hurray.
Her (bigger eyes, hands around mouth): HURRAY!
Him (hands down): Hurray.
Her: Come on, if you don’t put your hands here it won’t shout!
Him & Her: If you’re happy and you know it then your face will surely show it, if you’re happy and you know it shout
Him (hands around mouth): HURRAY!
Her: Right! That’s it! You got it! Very, very good!

Well… You don’t make a child out of an adult that easy. But never mind. That was fun nevertheless.
